The private MRI unit in the Southern Province, inaugurated on June 23, 2022, features the state-of-the-art Cips Prodiva 1.5 Tesla MRI model. This technology ensures high-quality imaging—the only one of its kind outside the commercial capital of Sri Lanka.
Staffed with radiologists boasting over 20 years of experience, the unit guarantees accurate interpretations. Its establishment addresses the community's need for advanced healthcare, reducing the necessity to travel to the capital for quality MRI scans. In essence, the unit significantly enhances the healthcare infrastructure in the Southern Province.
